Mechanical fences can be modular welded mesh systems which can be easily installed by anyone however due to their inflexibility, their real value is quite low. Strand-type fences can also be installed easily but have a higher requirement for the amount of posts needed and the lack of vertical strands is noticeable during the use of the fence.

The strained wire mesh Cont-Eco mechanical fence system is a more reliable solution which can be made with the traditional V-mesh featuring 2 twisted horizontal cables and vertical wires wrapped around each horizontal cable. However based on experience, a flexible mesh with anti-slip knots provides outstanding quality. Horizontal stay wires are joined to the vertical line wire with an innovative secure non-slip knot of a different material. This technology would even allow for an 8-meter post spacing but for a fence system to really operate safely in the long term, 5-6-meter post spacing should be applied. To take advantage of the positive characteristics of a mesh wire, it is essential to pay special attention to the tensioning of the wires which can be achieved by the professional and secure installation of the posts. Galvanised U-shaped barbed staples should be secured to the posts leaving enough room for the axial movement of the horizontal strands. During installation it is recommended to use a hydraulic post driver to drive the (preferably) acacia pointed posts into the ground without preliminary drilling. The posts may be installed using pre-drilling and -digging but these methods will not have the same results.

The introduction of the TORNADO TORUS HI-TENSILE PLUS wire mesh had been warranted by the changing market demands.

The QUAD-LOCK knot system is the simplified version of the decades-old perfectly functioning Titan multi-knot system which has made Tornado fencing products the leading game fences in the Hungarian market.

The QUAD-LOCK system prevents the 4-way movement of the horizontal – and vertical strands that are tied with the innovative knot.

  It is available in 2.0 and 2.5 mm wire diameter and in a height of 60 - 250 cm with 5, 7.5, 15, 22 cm vertical strand spacing.

Its application is virtually limitless in all conditions taking into consideration the physical factors that could impact the actual fenced-in area.

2. The TORNADO TORUS HI-TENSILE PLUS OPTIMUM wire mesh is a cost-effective solution that was developed to be able to manage the difficult economic times with the predictable quality and real value that TORNADO is known for.

Economic advantage to the user can be achieved by changing the wire diameter from 2.5 to 2.0 mm while the top and bottom wire diameter is 2.5 mm.
